Garlic contains potent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties which help to fight off the bacterial infection causing the problem. Garlic is also loaded with high levels of antioxidants that help to repair damaged cells and prevent illness.
These are the 3 different ways of using garlic for sinus infection:-
1. Garlic Steam:-
The garlic steaming can provide instant relief from the infection and other discomforts.
Boil enough amounts of water. Add 3 – 4 crushed garlic cloves into the boiling water. Boil it for few minutes. Inhale the steam deeply and exhale. Repeat inhale and exhale for few minutes. Repeat this process at least twice in a day to get relief.
2. Garlic and Turmeric:-
Turmeric has antibacterial and antiseptic properties which provide relief from the discomforts caused due to sinus infections.
First of all, take saucepan or pot and place it on stove over low heat.
pour 1 cup of water in a pot. Add 3 – 4 garlic cloves in this boiling water and boil it for another 2 – 3 minutes. Then, add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder in it and mix it well. Turn off the heat and pour this mixture in a cup. Drink this soup to treat sinus infection.
3. Garlic and Tomato Juice:-
Add 1/2 cup of tomato juice in a saucepan and boil it for few minutes. Then, add 4-5 crushed garlic cloves in the tomato juice. Stir well and let it simmer for few minutes. Drink this garlic-tomato mixture to clear the sinus infection quickly.
